So, the session is over...now what?

So, the session is over...now what? Don’t be so quick to rush off. Okay, admittedly perhaps the troops were pushed a bit too hard and they’re tired of having a camera shoved in their face or parent’s directing. Use this post session period of time for healing…sugared treats still work. Consider capturing some solemn moods or a tantrum to taunt them with on their wedding day!

Taking Time to Smell the Tulips

You’ve heard the old adage. Take time to smell the roses, right? Well, roses aren’t in bloom yet in the northwest. Instead I toured the tulips. Occasionally to remind myself that I have a LIFE besides the photography business, I force myself to take on special projects. (Much business has grown out of this practice, but that’s another blog entry.) This was my youngest son first visit to the tulips fields and of course he wanted to touch and eat everything. As the image indicates my older son had a blast!

While I’m neither a tulip nor rose fan, it’s always a blessing to be able to enjoy family and the great outdoors. Our LIFE span on this planet is exteremely short.
