I’m often asked how much touching-up do I perform on my male candid portraits. My answer is, “not much…unless the client wants an enlargement: 8x10 or larger". Basically, I minimize distractions caused or enhanced by digital technology, correct lighting imperfections, correct for color and contrast, some softening if needed and that’s about it.
